Lara Lotze is a Film and Performing Arts major at UAF, with a concentration in technical theatre. She has worked in all areas of theatre, most recently performing and designing Bottom’s mask for Theatre UAF’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream,” designing sets, lights, props and projections for “This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing,” directing for the UAF Student Drama Association’s Winter shorts, and working on Northstar Ballet’s 2018 Spring Gala as a student lighting designer. Lara also has an extensive dance and movement background. She taught Middle Eastern Dance for 13 years as director of her dance company, Alaska Awalim, and has danced as principle dancer with Tundra Caravan and Flamenco Tribe, Alaska.
She will be designing costumes for Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre’s “Merry Wives of Windsor” this summer.
