Lara Lotze is a Film and Performing Arts major at UAF, with a concentration in technical theatre. She has worked in all areas of theatre, most recently directing for the UAF Student Drama Association’s Winter shorts, designing costumes for Fairbanks Drama Association’s “Calendar Girls” and working on Northstar Ballet’s 2017 Spring Gala as a student lighting designer. Lara also has an extensive dance and movement background. She taught Middle Eastern Dance for 13 years as director of her dance company, Alaska Awalim, and has danced as principle dancer with Tundra Caravan and Flamenco Tribe, Alaska.
She will be performing in UAF’s production of Midsummer Night’s Dream this spring.
